About the Sisterhood

Sisterhood members are wonderful women devoted to supporting our synagogue.

We are here to offer a warm welcome to all who step through our doors.

Our mission is a tireless one.  Through fund raising and fun events we donate our time, energy, and resources for the success of Temple Israel.

Sisterhood works alongside our Board of Trustees, Men's Club and Hebrew School.

Our important functions and programs include:

• New Years Greetings Booklet

• Purim Shalach Manot

• Columbus Day Fun Day

• Spring Luncheon (helping to support our Men's Club Torah restoration project. 

• Educational Programs such as "How to Protect Yourself Against Identity Theft."

• Movie Night

• Comedy Night

• Purim Carnival cosponsored with the Hebrew School and Men's Club (View pictures from our past carnivals: 2005   2006   2007   2008).

• Sisterhood/Hebrew School Chanukah Party.

- Sunday, October 19th: Breast Cancer Walk (see below).
