Monthly Men's Club Dinner Meetings: First Wednesday of the month, Dinner at 7:00 PM. Meeting at 7:30 PM.
Ongoing Programs
The Men's Club is always hard at work to support Temple Israel in any way possible. Our ongoing programs include:
Yizkor Book: Our Yizkor book includes both the Yizkor prayers as well as an opportunity for members of our community to memorialize their loved ones.
Torah maintenance & Synagogue Upkeep: This is your opportunity to celebrate an occasion or memorialize a loved one. Donation opportunities start at $36.
Catering for Kiddush. Sponsor a dessert kiddush starting at $100, or a kiddush luncheon starting at approximately $10 per person.
Seudah Shelishith:
Sponsor a Seuadah Shelishtiht for $50. Please note that seudah
shelishith sponsorship must be made in cash (tax receipt available on
request). To schedule a date, contact the synagogue office or e-mail

High Holiday flower sale. Lovely arrangements delivered for only $60 (delivery outside of LB, Island Park, Lido Beach, Atlantic Beach and Point Lookout is extra).
September/October: High Holiday ushering. To volunteer, contact Marc Friedman through the synagogue office.
September/October: Sukkah building & Breakfast.
September/October: Sukkot Luncheon. Held on the Shabbat of Sukkot.
December: A Night at the Races. Enjoy a lovely dinner and place bets on recorded races. Winning bets earn chances to win valuable prizes. View pictures of our 2005 Nite at the Races.
Purim Carnival co-sponsored by the Sisterhood, Hebrew School, and Men's Club. A joint effort with the Hebrew School and Sisterhood, the Purim carnival includes fun & games, food, face painting, rides, and more! (View pictures from our past carnivals: 2005 2006 2007 2008)
